FAQs

Nextblock-Autoclaved is the First Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) block manufacturer of Bangladesh. Nextblock-Autoclaved started their commercial production of AAC blocks since January 2022, and the factory is located in Tangail.

AAC block is a is a lightweight, precast, solid concrete block, which is considered as the best & finest solution for any kind of walls. It’s an environmentally friendly, technologically advanced product that can replace all traditional bricks & blocks available in the market.

AAC blocks or Autoclaved Aerated Concrete blocks are pre-cast, lightweight solid concrete blocks.

AAC is a light porous silicate product made mostly of siliceous materials (sand) and calcareous materials (lime, cement), with gas-forming admixtures (aluminum powder) as the principal addition agent and gypsum.

  • Eco-friendly
  • Lightweight
  • Thermal insulation
  • Fire resistant
  • Sound Resistant
  • Energy efficient
  • Pest resistant
  • Faster Construction
  • Good workability
  • Cost effective

AAC block manufacturing process involves the following steps:

  • Raw material preparation. The key ingredient to manufacture AAC blocks is sand, cement, lime, gypsum, aluminum powder
  • Dosing and mixing of raw materials
  • Casting, Rinsing and Pre-curing
  • Demolding and cutting
  • Entering autoclave for steam curing

AAC Block’s raw materials are sand, cement, lime, aluminum powder and gypsum. Aluminum powder and gypsum, both elements are used to reduce hit. These are used to make bubbles (porous character) inside the block which helps to reduce heat.

AAC Block is renowned for its fire resistance properties and is more superior than traditional masonry for products with fire resistance up to 4 hours for a nominal block thickness of 100 mm. These AAC products are highly suitable for areas where fire safety is a top priority.

AAC block’s working procedure is easy and simple as regular traditional bricks. That’s why regular labor can easily work with this block.

AAC works effectively in high-rise structures and can withstand wide temperature fluctuations. As a result of its reduced density, AAC-built structures may use less steel and concrete for their framework

AAC Block is a cost-effective product. If we design a project with AAC & use AAC Blocks, we can save up to 20% of the total construction cost. It can reduce-

  • Foundation cost
  • Joint mortar & plaster cost
  • Lifetime energy saving for excellent thermal insulation
  • Faster construction saves time & labor cost
